I had originally purchased Logisys Cathode lights and although it worked, the lights started to dim after a month and the inverter was crap. especially if you plugged the wire the wrong way, the inverter was shot. I then found Oznium through word of mouth and never looked back. With the Oznium cathodes, they have been in my trunk in very very cold weather and hot temperatures for almost a year. The light is still bright as when I had it the first day. I have modified the cathodes to work in the trunk using a 194/921 wedge plug or 3022/3021 festoon plug.

I have sold many of my kits and there has not been any complaints at all. The customer service is also superb. I had a inverter that fried with a burnt smell and Oznium was quick to send out a replacement!

well, i just got 2 sets of 12" oznium cathodes. i got them in 2 days via priority mail. but when i got them, one tube was broken, and the other 3 burned out in less than a day of being installed, being used for about 10 minutes. its sunday so i cant get a hold of oznium so i guess i'll wait until tomorrow. i'm disappointed though. hopefully they take care of it.

I've ordered these cathodes about 4 times now - And no, not because they're fragile and break easy!

First time years ago I bought these on a wim (x2 12" blue, 1x purple) to light up my footwells and cupholder

2nd time, bought more for under my seats!

3rd time some jackass broke into my car, stole my stero and some how busted my cathodes in two pieces in the process!

4th time - Making my front grill light up!

I bought 1 blue Cathode kit and installed it on my scion tC. I have them for almost about 6 months and still running strong. These lights work great, and light output is amazing. I have got a lot compliments on it. i would recommend u buy another transformer or another set of cathode because if u r placing the two cathodes about 2+ft apart..it will be easier installation since the white wires are so small. Oznium customer service is great and i am happy with my purchase.

these are the brightest lights I've ever seen and they're extremely cheap. I put a 12" blue cathode in each front foot well and a 4" green cathode in my glove box and dash console with a lighted rocker switch for only $29 and they work amazing. Alright, so i ordered these. I got them and installed them. They look fantastic, until maybe 20-25 minutes later when you can smell the transformer burn out.

I contacted Oznium and they sent me new ones. I am still having this problem. I have tried multiple types of wire and this has happened one 3 different cars.

The hookup was VERY easy, and the advertisement is dead on, they really are 4X brighter then a standard neon. The ONLY downfall of the product is the VERY limited places to put them. Each tube can only stay about 6" away from the transformer, which really limits where they can go. Other then that, everything was simple, and it turbed out amazing.

I ordered one set of cathodes late Friday night. On Tuesday they were in my mailbox, with regular $3.95 shipping...simply incredible! The price with shipping was less then I would have had to pay at any auto store or __mart, much better quality at Oznium as well. It took me all of 5 minutes to wire them, and another 20 minutes or so to install with brackets. Because of the simplicity of the product, and the great install topics in the forums, i didn't even look at the directions, could not be any easier. Now I have a very bright, purple glowing, custom dome light in my van, and it looks great. First off, I'd like to say that I REALLY like my cold cathodes. They are amazing. I bought 3 12" sets and I put them in the footwells, and under the front and back of the front seats. Thus far, the ones in the footwells and under the front of the seat are awesome. The ones under the back of the front seats however lasted about a month. Why? Well, they aren't nearly as fragile as neons, but they are still light bulbs. So yeah, I've got a 98 Civic and tall friends. I drove a couple friends around, they put their feet under the seat, they got smashed. I then replaced them with some LEDs, haven't had a problem since. Though the LEDs don't look nearly as good.

Five stars. I only lost a set because of my own inconsideration of placement. I'm looking at getting a set of 4" cathodes to put behind my climate controls.

I planned on putting one cathode under each side of the dash and one in each door pocket in my 2000 Tiburon...so I was directed here by some people on rdtiburon.com and bought two 12'' dual set's and two extra transformers and some led rocker switches. I was worried I might need two cathodes under each side of the dash but don't be worried by pictures that don't look bright. One tube will do it's job perfectly...it's all in how you mount it. Most pictures I saw, the people are cutting off about 80 degrees of the light by mounting the tubes actually up in the dash...they should be out from the dash a little bit to get the full effect which is awesome...Have not installed yet but have played around with a 9v battery to see where they will look good and I am totally pleased.

These lights are soo bright and give of almost no heat. Wicked easy to hook up. Just got to take care when putting them in. Be sure not to strain them or bend them or they will snap very easily. Between the 4" and the 12" they can be mounted anywhere. Awsome product!

After a little more use of the cathodes, I'd still say they aren't quite true to their colors, but the brightness and spread of light makes them worth using. Wouldn't recommend them for a single color application unless you use just cathodes, no LEDs. The blue is more electric blue, the green looks radioactive, the red still looks pink to me, the white is a neutral white and looks great, orange cream isn't so orange, and the rest of the colors I haven't tested out but purple and pink will be soon to come. By far my favorite of the cathodes are the UV range. They look pointless and dim until installed, then they throw the UV effect all over the place. It's impossible to locate them unless you know because they don't give off anything really from the tube. It's quite an impressive effect. Overall these are one of the best items on Oz, mainly for their brightness, spread of light, and cheap price. Recommend them all but red :P

First off the order was short, Oznium did not send the cathode boxes for the neons, second we used another cathode box from another set we had to see what they looked like and there by no means any ORANGE to them period they are straight White. I mod Xbox 360's for many people and used the 4" cathodes first in mine. I had them in there since May of 2006 my 360 hasn't been on more than 500 hours and they went very dim. So I replaced them and everything is going good so far. I then did a 360 for a customer and it went dim after 2 weeks. But the 12" cathodes in my computer have lasted a very long time. Can't beat the price though.

I love them and give those 5 stars but the orange ones I ordered for my friends Orange Mazdaspeed Protege almost looked white. They really dont have any orange tint to them. They almost just look like the pale white that stock headlights give off. I know it said orange cream so I knew they were gonna be bright orange but they didnt even look like they did in the picture. I will prolly be ordering some red ones for his car tho and just go all red but I just thought I would let people know about the orange ones. Other then that this is the place to get cathodes and Leds from. I also have blue leds in my gauges and stuff.

I can see in my truck without turning on the interior lights now and it gives me the custom look at night that I was after. I also got white to go under the bed rails in my truck. I have a tonnue cover that blocks the cargo light at night so I needed some kind of lighting. I hid the cathodes under the bed rails and they glow super bright just as the package says. Now I can see if I have cargo loaded in my truck and its great for tailgating or just hanging out at night.

The green is the perfect color. Nice and bold, not too light, not too dark. Blue is a little light but still awesome. These are GREAT, especially for the price! I'm buying some more sets to put in my boat!!!

These things are super bright. I am gonna have to get me some for the back seat now. I had 2 9" regular blue neons under my dash to begin with and yea I thought they were cool but they are nowhere near as bright. They dont even look like light now that I have seen the light output from these chatodes. These ROCK!!! I would suggest anybody getting these if they want bright light. And how can you not buy them?? I bought a set of these in Green. I put them on my quad. The only thing about these was that I bought 4 sets of the 4inch for the quad too. And one of the 12inch lights wires were cut. But I fixed that with a little wire and electrical tape. Nothing big. They are DAMN bright! Like.. 3 or 4 times brighter than the neons. I love them, great buy, Pick em up. I have purchased a few blue, green, orange, and white thodes now, (and the last three colors are the new FlowLighting brand) and I simply could not be happier. Two sets of blue light up my entire car rather nicely, a set of 4" green lights up the underside of my front seats wickedly bright, and the orange and white ones I use as a primary light source in my bedroom. It's not as bright as your standard incandescent, but its enough to read and see well by with, and the coolness factor is through the roof! How could anybody not rate these at 5 stars?

Absolutely amazing. These lights are very bright, and they are very fairly priced as well! My friend brought brand X cathodes, and they are not even half as bright as mine, and they are more turquoise ( I got the blue ones.) Another friend of mine has streetglow tubes, and he paid more for two mini tubes then I did for all eight of mine. The finishing touch? I got to speak to Phil online. Streetglow can't do that. Absolutely perfect product, forget two time's brighter than Neon, I had a fifteen inch purple neon tube, and put one of these twelve inch cold cathodes next to it, not only is the cathode more compact, which makes them perfect for when you have tighter area's to hide tubes, the Cold Cathode was AT LEAST three to five times brighter than the neon tube. Keep up the great work Phil, I will be back for more when I can figure out where to put them...

Great stuff! Extraordinarily bright! What a great deal! Super easy to install, too! Only 2 in the front footwells and the entire front end of the car is lit up. I put some in the back seat (in between the cushions) and the back is lit up like a spotlight. The only downside to these things are the wires are super short. Two words: SWEET. BRIGHT. I used 14 kits for under my fullsize trucks underbody and its simply amazing of how bright the kit is! my friends and coworkers say it looks like a UFO.LOL http://www.sounddomain.com/memberpage/534297/3 its even brighter than my camera can take a picture of.LOL it automaticaly focuses its brightness down for the pictures :( well worth the extra work to seal them up and zip ties i used to make two 8ft strips and two 5ft strips for my underbody kit. :D now i gotta finish my interior lighting.... tho i have got like 7more kits of green 12inch kits to use, 2 white 12inch kits, and two 4inch blue strips, and also 2 12inch black light kits to use for my interior ;) tho the black lights will be wired up thru the parking lights and the green to a 2way switch to only work with the doors open.... eitherr green or the white if i gotta read something or try to find my remote control.LOL these are well worth thier cost and beat everything ive ever used!

The funny thing is that we only installed one set and he still has yet to get the other 2 sets in. He says the lights make it hard to see at night, but he also lives out in the middle of nowhere, where there is no streetlights to illuminate the street like me as a city driver has. These are definitely bright and an extremely good price too. Stop holding out for better cause their isn?t any brighter than these.

I just installed the cathodes. Man, did they get here fast. There are no words to explain the brightness of these lights. This is by far the cheapest and most spectacular lighting effect I have ever installed on my truck. It is so bright... it dwarfs all of the other lights that I have on my truck. The only thing toning it down is the fact that its under my sunvisors, but as soon as I pull those down, my whole truck becomes a blue sea of neon glow. This is an awesome product. The tubes are thinner than most neon tubes because of the transformer being on the outside but I found this to be a benefit when mounting. The only drawbacks on this product is that the wires are not very long and that the tubes are very fragile so be very careful when installing and where you mount them so they do not get kicked or damaged (trust me I know). Other than that these are pretty bright for their size and you get 2 tubes with each kit so it's a pretty awesome deal. Very cost effective product.

Well, not knowing what to expect....here is what I found. Yes, they are bright as hell! They are very easy to install and simple velcro will in fact hold them in place due to thier light weight casing. Downside is the length of wire to the transformer and finding a place to hid it. Its not that big, but big enough to stick out if not hidden properly. I got the Blue ones and they look more like aqua. For the price, I think they are a good deal. Im going to end up selling mine only because the aqua does not go well with my red/blue lighting scheme. Other than that I was happy with price, product, and service form Oznium.

I ordered two sets of blue, and they are brighter than any neon I've ever seen for the size. They are very easy to hide away anywhere. The only thing that was bad was that they don't have long enought wire to put them away from each other. I cut the wires and made them longer, but them they were very dull. I tried all kinds of wire, and still dull, I had to hook it up to the short wires again and have them about 8 inches away from each other to reach the transformer.

This is one of the best accent lighting products I have seen. I have 4 green cathodes. The only drawback is the wires can't really be extended after the transformer.
