Check out this car. The way the door works is amazing. It's a concept from 1993. There's a video towards the bottom of the page. icon_cool.gif

Uber niftular. This is the 3rd new thread I've seen about it today, across 3 diff forums, it's spreading like crazy (and warranted).

Weird... I see issues with that folding door-liner cloth over time though. And it's a pocket UNDER the car that the door folds into - that always makes me nervous, since spaces under the car tend to be breeding grounds for corrosion. I'd like to see it up close to see how they sealed it - I'll bet you that it gets wet in there as water rolls down the door and into the lower sill...

Dude,

How Pimp would it be to pull up to the drivethru window at In'N out burger! And have that door slide under the car so you never spill anything when they hand you your double double and large coke. On the other hand you could probably kill someone if you shut the door and their head is sticking outside the car! puppy_dog_eyes.gif

lol

gonna suck when it rains though cause the whole side of the car is WIDE open with the door down/open
and in the winter? forget it....snow would get everywhere...

i dunno, im just not seeing the practicality of it, lambos IMO are better anyways, people can see them above everyone elses car. with this door, people have to be like right there to see that you have a hide-away door like the ups guy
