you should really try and find some bigger brakes for that thing with the bigger wheels. Do you know if it take longer to stop now?

I would imagine that some of the vibrations are actually caused by the spinners. if those aren't perfectly balanced than that could definately cause more problems long term.
they are really sweet though. braking shouldt take any longers but some Brembo diskes and calipers with endless pads would be a very nice final touch to the wheels. to clean them I would go with the mothers metal or shrome polish. you also have to be careful because if the wheels have a polished finish on them the metal polish will actually make them dull. |

I woulkd love to see some glow on those as they spin, maybe even a strobe or something mounted in the wheel well so it shines on the wheels as they spin. That would look even more bad ass then it does right now.

yeah the mothers is a paste, thats why i said the turtle wax polish its more of a liquid not a paste that you scrub. its a wipe on there and let it dry then wipe it off its like meguiars liquid car wax really easy to apply and easy removal.

yeah brakes are important but air suspension is bigger priority now
yeah i gotta be so careful and take a ton of caution when parallel parking, etc since the spinners stick out a little bit i just wish it wasnt raining so much now oohhh well the cops and mailmen love them. they come up and spin them |

I was talking to one of my friends the other day and he said he actually saw a car with wheel glow... not wheel well glow, but wheel glow. He said you couldn't see it from the front or back, but if you were along side of his car, the whole inside of his wheels were lit up as if someone had glow mounted to the axle pointing at the wheels. Anyone heard of such kits? How are they mounted etc..?
As for the vibration, Check your car's alignment as well. You had them balanced which eliminated some. But if the tires are larger/smaller then your previous, then your alignment will be off too. It usually won't really cause vibration, but still something to consider so you don't improperly wear your tires. For regular street riding, I'd recommend you inflating your tires to close to their max pressure. 40 on a 50 is a bit low. I usually do within a few PSI of max pressure on tires. Also, I'm not too familiar with spinners, but is there any kind of alignment that people do on spinners where they add little weights to them so they are evened out? I'd think all it takes is the slightest imbalance and they will give you vibration. |

the wheels not being aligned wouldn't cause vibrations it would cause imporper tire wear. I would suspect you could check to see if the spinners are perfectly balenced by spinning them and recording where it stops. if the same spot is at the bottom repeatidly then you need to add weight to whatever spoke is on top.
i am guessing to get neon glow in the wheels you would have to get some neon custom bent to be bigger than the brakes and then mount them to a point that doesn't spin but turns with the wheels. (like the brake caliper support) then all you would have to do is run a wire down the axel and to where ever all your wires end up. |

Take it from someone that works in the tire business. DO NOT inflate to within a few lbs from max. It will ride worse and it will create flat spots on your tires.
I have 30x9.5-15s and max is 45psi. I run them at 30psi. Been the same for 2 years. They ride smooth and are wearing evenly. ( I rotate them every 3 months on the dot). Your 20s should be at about 38-40 just cuz they are low profile. |

I've seen a car with the wheel glow before. To me it looked like a speaker ring was mounted behind the wheel, but I don't know how it was mounted. It looked really cool though. |
