Marine Corps Birthday Celebration

Do you ever travel around Lee? I've got a friend stationed in Bahrain. He's been all around that area though.

You guys have a Marine Ball over there? Those uniforms look a little different than these, taken a few weeks ago or w/e the birthday was. That's Nick, all the way to the right.

We go outside the wire quite a bit, so instead of cammies, we wear flight suits designed to protect against accelerants put in IEDs (fire retardent). We're way out on the western edge of the Al-Anbar province, and I've had the chance to see everything from our current base to the Syrian border, the Jordan border, and several local towns and villages.
