after reading all of the how to i found from the search button i have come to find that my power source im trying to convert is diffrent!!

mine does not have a power swtich on it
and my green wire has a yellow tracer on it

my question is can it be used?

from the way im looking at it i just need to find what wires would connect to the on switch and then to find the wire that tricks the power source to come on

any help would be awsome

i can get pics if it will help

im doing this to run neons for my bed room , or should i just go by a converter???

thanks guys

Take a pic of it and post it up. I have 2 power supplies and I use the yellow wire as the positive.

Can't be the orange because there has to be more than one +12 volt wire.

is it an old AT power supply or an ATX power supply, there is a big diffrence between them on how they turn on.
either way with computers
yellow = 12v
red = 5v
black = ground
