Are you sure you want to delete this post?
Do you need to hook these up to a switch or is this all controlled by the remote? Sorry if it's a dumb question but it has got me confused.

you can if you want.... I believe you can turn the unit on/off with the remote, so a switch isn't really necessary... it all depends on what you want to do...

Put it on a switch, I think people's get messed up from using the unit as a switch itself.

The Blaze comes with a built-in switch on the power cord, as well as two remote controls. Most people will usually leave the switch on and use the remote, however you can do what you see fit. The kit will always turn on with the switch, just keep that in mind if you're driving down the road.
