2002 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4WD
8.1 Liter Vortec V8
bulletproof lift, 14" total
20" kmc rockstars w/ 39.5" tires
random brand of blue underbody kit / needs replacing
Motorized drop down door steps

Getting new tires this week

It has a lot of potential for LEDs and glow

Been thinking about a lifted truck for a while. Picked this one up from a friend in a local truck club. $18,000 with 73,000 miles. I think its a fair deal.

Completely impractical. Amazing gas mileage of EIGHT mpg. Throaty roar, since no muffler.

If you put a very sizeable "OZNIUM" banner on it you can write the gas used for it off as advertising biglaugh.gif

Actually, I think in NY its 2 Banner sized stickers and MAYBE vanity plates, you can get cheaper insurance and write some of it off.

Like you said, impracticable, but its bad ass you have all those rides.

Kudos.

I bet they have different styles of plates, and if not...Time to get out the welder. Iron crosses are not what I think of when I think "Oznium Show Truck".

I say get custom plates made with Oznium.com cut into them. It could be a thick engraving or an actual cutout so you can glow through it. Or buy standard plates and modify them icon_biggrin.gif

Those wheels look sick without the center caps. Primarily without the big chrome star. Reminds me of the Lone Star state when it's installed icon_razz.gif

I'm sorry.. I have to be the dissenting opinion . This is not my style of vehicle at all.. and its also the kind of vehicle I hate driving around . I don't see how a huge lifted domestic truck is the best display vehicle for auto lighting since I don't think that's the largest customer demographic, and with all the exposed suspension and the height of the interior relative to the eye level of the average viewer, you're going to have to work a lot of miracles to hide your sources . Also why must everyone paint random interior panels ? And why blue for christ's sake ? And why does the paint look textured ? And if your main purpose is to show it you're going to have to get people to climb inside or they'll be looking at the floor mats when they look inside . And that rear window logo needs to die .
Also, around here the only people that drive lifts like this are white guys with fo-hawks or shaved heads with ball caps on half sideways with mad off-road brand and Skin stickers with pop punk blaring out their open windows.. or their wives/girlfriends who are running me off the road because they have no business being in a vehicle this large and have no idea wtf they're doing . Oh it just all rubs me the wrong way ! Waaaaarhbhlagggggaaaaarrg . icon_lol.gif

Also, congrats on your new purchase ! icon_biggrin.gif

My .02$ is that you should have a 3ft by 5 ft flag made or two of them. mount a bracket system up then put floodlights or superflux's pointed and the flags
its what ive been wanting to do to my flags

That just screams redneck imo. No flags. Just some oznium promo stickers and a bunch of glow. That thing gets plenty of attention as it is.

Phil, does that thing have the axles re-geared? If not I'd recommend getting it done... you'll see an improvement in mpg and definitely in the power department. What tires are you going with?

The sticker on the back was from the old owners NOR-CAL / car club. No *** bananas. Sorry icon_rolleyes.gif

My favorite picture is Phil on macro mode (thanks Aken for explaining Macro mode to me biglaugh.gif) taken from my Pontiac G6 rental chase vehicle by Brittany.

Also we won't need people climbing into the vehicle, but think at the shows we attend, the STI's, Evo's, and every other tuned import will be there...

Oznium will have a huge glowing truck which will project LEDs mounted on it perfectly will definitely stand out from the crowd. icon_biggrin.gif
