Illinois Lighting Laws

Sorry guys I cannot find the lighting laws on that site that is stickied. Didn't know if anyone could help me out?

(625 ILCS 5/12%u2011215) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 12%u2011215)
Sec. 12%u2011215. Oscillating, rotating or flashing lights on motor vehicles. Except as otherwise provided in this Code:
(a) The use of red or white oscillating, rotating or flashing lights, whether lighted or unlighted, is prohibited except on:
1. Law enforcement vehicles of State, Federal or

local authorities;

Guess they should check with the state statue eh?

ya i know a state cop and he says any underglow is illegal, but then talked to my local police two of them to be exact and basically they said no red or white and no oscillating, but then they also said they really dont worry bout it unless sometihng is wrong like speeding

o u also have to watch out, no blue in the city, cause the cops use blue instead of red, cause it cuts through the fog.

well bud...... i have a van lol.. but i drive around with 3 green superfluxes in my turn signal bays... and i have my amber one still hooked up.. and i drive with the ones inside on too.. but i've drove by many many cops with my green lights on during day and nighht and with my subs going and all i get are looks... but i live in the quad cities by Rock Island hope this helps
