Last Bit of Summer Log *Cut-Off Update!!*

^^Thanks man appreciate it. Prolly gonna yellow the fogs on it and run some yellow halogen bulbs as fogs.

Well as it stands HID and trim done tomorrow waiting for pics till then. Also, i am looking at a film for the headlights so that i can have them darker then they are. It's a light smoke grey but with the headlights blacked out it would look dark as hell.


Any thoughts?

Yeah i am just iffy on fitment. Really it only matters below the eyelid i put on. Just thought i would help black the front the rest of the way. I may order some and see how it goes.

Also i KNOW the lens is ****. It is getting a smoked cover so this will render that issue dealt with. Also not as blue as they appear. Camera shot REALLY blue but they are a nice crisp white which was the plan. Cut-off and light throw later YAY!!

Thats an eyelid. The cover i will cut where the eyelid is and use the rest smoke the headlight. WOOT going for cut off pics and light throw.

im confused by the intake on your car...its doesnt seem to be the best placement as its blocked by a lot of airflow by that box whatever that is and it cant get much cold air there either right beside the motor...just odd and seems impractical to me

Hmm,whatever Why would you want to make your gauge needles more difficult to see? If anything why not mod them to make them more visible. But hey if you like your mod,then good for you.

Sorry worded it wrong. My bad. Forgot a word i believe. I don't want them more visible.....it's keeps with the stealth theme. And in person i have absolutely no issues knowing my gas, temp, speed. And well RPM's don't matter. As i drive my car off feel and sound.

Looks nice, then do the side skirts, front and rear lip next.

There is no rear lip...

The skirts, rest of the trim, and the door handles are on the menu to be done. The lip is not easy for anyone. It is a stiff yet flexible rubber material. Not really easy to just sand prime and paint. So it will be staying just as the black SVT's have it unpainted.

Is the front lip Urethane?

No it is a stiff yet flexible rubber deal, almost like a safe guard that looks good they put of the SVT.

ABS plastic?

Dood i don't know what the hell it's made of. It is more flexible then stuff. But there has never been a color matched SVT lip because the material is almost impossible to paint and have it turn out good.

Ok god forbid the weather hold long enough. I have one set of side trim done the other will be finished tonihgt and side skirts IFi can get to them if not they will be done on sunday.

BTW i know they are night but you can DEF tell a difference and in the close shot the trim acutally reflects everything rather then being a nasty matte.
