A local Mexican place called el azul...good stuff. Applebees is good but I wouldn't consider it in my top 3...
After that, I really don't care. Everything to me is either overpriced or crappy...there was this really nice hotel in the south side of charleston that had a very nice restaurant in it, though...the hotel closed and the restaurant went with it...Don't even remember the name of it, now...Good food, a little pricey but it was well worth it. The staff was awesome....

sorry for not mentioning anything no one has heard of except applebees LOL

I've never went anywhere really nice.

The only place I've been to that is worth mentioning is the Athenian in Seattle. Crab cakes NOM NOM NOM.

My number one is Fuddruckers which is no longer around in my area, so I have replaced it with...

Then
City Barbecue www.citybbq.com
And
Olive Garden (Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo, YUM!)

A couple others that are high in the list are Applebbes for their cowboy burger, and boneless honey bbq wings, and Outback for their RIBS! icon_smile.gif I'm hungry now.

Still have one here, and all their burgers are delicious. Only place around with a Buffalo Burger, but it's too small for me usually. 1lb. burger ftw icon_twisted.gif

TAJRogers, nice. I get the half pound triple cheese blue plate with an oreo shake. There is one left in the Dayton area, which is like an hour and a half/two hours away from me. I miss it icon_sad.gif

Heard of that place, it's crazy. Advanced booking for months. I take it it's good?

I personally loved Shaka Pizza on the island, thought the NY style pizza from there was better than what I get in north jersey / NYC!

Go for an early dinner and its first come first served...usually pretty quiet and relaxing as they own their own private beach and its an open window restaurant...Great service, awesome food....expensive though...2 people will run you 175-250.

Mine are
Big Al's Italian beef (Chicago, IL)
Thurman Cafe (Columbus, OH)
Hyde Park Steakhouse (Columbus, OH)

If I had to choose between spending $150 at a great steakhouse or $250 to fly to Chicago for Al's beef.. I'd be in Chicago in a heart beat.

Runners Up:
Corky's (Memphis, TN)
City BBQ (Columbus, OH) <-- Their pulled pork was a little dry last time I was there.

There's probably 50 or so on my list, but I'm a fat guy who travels a lot.

Fast Food:
Chipotle
Pawbowsky's
Lenny's

Sit Chain Down:
Samurai
Buca Di Beppo
Bone Fish Grille

Local:
Google these choices and you will see they are GREAT!
Gus's Fried Chicken
(World renowned fried chicken for over 100 years, I would suggest the original place in Mason, worth the drive... only two locations ever...Was wrote up as one of the top 10 places in the world to travel to and eat. GQ and many others wrote reviews on Gus's... drinks some chicken and drink a beer!)

Rendezvous's BBQ
( Awesome dry rub ribs, OMG! My cousin married the lady who owns the place, and we had a bachelor's party start off eating good food there for free I didn't want to leave! )

Neely's BBQ
(Grew up in memphis with one of the Neelys and he brought BBQ to school before they were as big as they are now... They even have a TV show now! Still small with only two or three locations but the food as ALWAYS been great! The ribs and the beans which made them famous... GAH! I want to go to Memphis to eat tomorrow ;/ )

This is funny that everybody says this. I work at the "OG"... the salads are no different than what you buy from the food store. We don't make our own, but everyone just thinks its so much better than everyone elses. The only place that makes their own that I know of is Texas Roadhouse.

My top three are:

Texas Roadhouse (Awesome everything)
Hibachi (Japanese place)
Buffalo Wild Wings (Food is not so ok, but its a great place to chill)

Yeah, i know a salad is a salad, but it's the dressing... i don't know if you put just enough dressing or what but it's off the hook
