I'm interested in getting into the tuning world, and have done some google searching but really haven't found much about how to do it- i.e. engine work, suspension, even air bagging et cetera.

I really don't know a whole lot about cars, ( i know some though) and so I'm wondering what are some good resources to learn about/how to car tune.

Thanks

what type of car are you looking to learn to tune?

The basics for tuning are about the same, but the specifics and methods can change slightly based on what vehicle and what is available for it.

Take it apart and put it back together. If you want to get a new suspension then buy it. Take your old one off and put the new one back on. If you have questions when you're doing it as on a forum for your car. Most everything can be figured out if you take it apart.

first find out what everything in your car is for, find out what parts will do what and how they compliment other parts. start mild and dont believe every ad that says "adds 60 hp" or whatever they have to say. the more power your pushing the harder it is on every other part of your car. figure out what numbers your looking for based on what type of performance you want your car to end up with.
