Uploading iPhotos

Phil, is there anyway you can configure the gallery to where we can upload photos from an iPhone similar to facebook??

if you do end up doing it, make it possible for all phones.

how about making the quick reply quick first...or doing an auto resize on all photos so that they don't stretch the screen.

I wanted to do this on my site but I don't know where to begin. Do you have any links for information on how this is done?

Can't be done from Safari.

You could do it like Facebook used to where you simply email your photo to photos@facebook.com and it matches your email address to your account. You had to go through a verification process the first time, but it was even more convenient than how you do it now IMHO.

Ouch, filing for bankruptcy was one of the hardest decisions Ive ever had to make, and hope that anyone with a decent amount of financial education can realize how fortunate you are to have it. I was not.

Thought you were joking with the whole iThis, iThat post(just another hilarious one of yours that. . well. . . isn't hilarious). An iPhoto is a Photo taken with an iPhone, pretty complicated and did not need another waste of space post of yours to obtain the definition of it.

It's all good though, life's too short.

For anyone who doesn't have an iPhone, you can snap a pic and have it uploaded with a tagline to myspace or facebook in about 20 seconds, it's pretty damn convenient.

Anyway Korn, you seem cool enough, don't take anything I say seriously, if it bothers ya lemme know.

If a photo taken from an iPhone is an iPhoto, is a call made from one an iCall? Is a text an iText? If you send an email from it, is it an iEmail?

Me saying iPhoto is just short for saying Picture from my iphone.

Dan fails at proper iPhone capitalization. Multiple times. After having several examples set forth by other users.

I have never heard of a photo being taken from an iPhone as an iPhoto.

When I hear iPhoto, I think of the app called iPhoto for OS X.

Maybe it's just me but I still cannot do this...

I'm pretty sure there's no way to upload a photo on the iPhone to any website without an app. You'll just have to settle for emailing it to yourself and uploading it via a computer.

I upload the photos from my iphone to photobucket, or just grab them straight off the phone.

I'm going to go with A-Ray, pretty sure iPhoto is a piece of software (comes standard on OS X / mac systems) for easily importing and making quick edits to pictures (taken both with digital cameras and iPhones)

iPhoto = not photo taken with iPhone.

We can use email piping for pictures to be sent to something like mobile@oznium.com. Pipe that using valiases to a PHP program which integrates with our gallery system. I'll see if Phil has the time or want's to. It would be quite easy (until you got to on the fly image manipulation / sizing with GD/ImageMagick)

Well either way I appreciate the effort.

So someone needs to create an Oznium app...

Screw iPhones. Make it compatble for Blackberrys! lol
