I still have 8 cathodes inside my car w/ plans for more and 12 outside my car. I just chose neons b/c cathodes are pink and LED's are harder to aim.

I just realized he wants red.... maybe neons are the way to go

12 cathodes outside? Hrmm - They dont look strong enough to put on the outside...

How exactly do you preform this "shrinkwrapping" that I've been hearing about? I'd liek to put a few of these in my grille...
