I like to upgrade my dinky little horn to something more noticable. Ideally I'm looking for a sound like the one here in this video;

Im assuming you mean the air horn that the ambulance uses secondary to his siren. Here is one....http://www.sirennet.com/powairmodwhe.html Pricey but a airhorn none the less!

Keep in mind with that whelen unit you're going to need a speaker too. Not worth it IMO considering I've only used my horn less than probably 10 times in my life... If you're volunteer EMS/FD and are permitted to use one, that may be a different story.

Go to an auto wrecker and find a set (high and low) from a old Caddy or Lincoln.

Harbor freight has a cheap det .... pretty loud I mounted a set on my bike , scares the crap out of people
