I have two 10in green neon tubes that i want to install under my hood.

but will they over heat?

can they be installed there?

sure can, obviously don't have them sitting ontop the motor

typically on the outside of the firewall and that "box" area is perfect for most applications

just use some LED stripes around that perimeter, the upper corner will hide the leds and allow nice clean glow

Be creative , under the airfilter box , Under the rear lip , along the radiator sides , up on the hood works but those to me are visible ... I've seen some PT'rs take Chrome door mouldings and mount those on the "fins" of the intake Then the neons light them up well

Try the sides of the engine bay...that is where I have mine in the neon...
