well considering they are only what...6 dollars? I'd just buy new ones. you'll probably get an answer from one of the fine Oznium Employee's or Phil here shortly. Hold tight.

thanks now in your opinion which would put out more light two 4" cathodes or one 12" flexible led strip

from what I can tell. and from experience. LED strips are brighter, dont have a warm up time, are relitively (SP) cheap, and last longer and are more durable that cathodes.

Also depends on what your lighting. LED strips are for the most part...Directional. As cathodes allow 360 Degrees of glow.

But Aimed right, LED strips are far more superior.

Cathodes work GREAT for the price ... BUT if they are kicked or bent the glass cracks , the transformers are prone to troubles they DO NOT like water , you cannot extend the white wires, that limits the mounting area or forces you to buy two transformers for footwells ect ...They use higher amounts of current, they CANNOT be dimmed

LEDS are flexible , durable , easy to mount ,can run the wires wherever you want , last for 1000's of hours , watertight , Use far less current , and can be dimmed...I'll let you decide icon_wink.gif
