Hey, new here with a ??

I need to use a relay but my sygnal wire is - not +

So do I just reverse the polarity to make it work ?? Or will that burn the relay icon_confused.gif

Run 86 to constant power then run the signal to 85 , when the signal goes low , it'll power the relay

Yes connect 30/86 together to the 12V source and DO NOT ground 85 , just connect the signal wire to it

Keep in mind that that graphic is to show people how to use a relay normally closed instead of normally open. Meaning that if you connect any lights to 87a, they will turn OFF when the relay is activated.

If you want whatever is connected to the relay to turn on when it is activated, connect it to the 87 pin, not 87a.
