looking for a relay that I can activate with a just a signal ( not on-off switch ) ... basicly I want it to turn something on using a push switch, but I need the relay to stay on regardless of the switch position ... I hope this is easy to understand

Doesnt really matter, could be by pushing the button again or just by killing the main power.
My rear window heater switch works that way, push it once and it turns on, push it again and its off. Is that just a relay or something more complicated ?? |

Most defrosters are a TIMED relay they go on for X amount of time and go off automatically when the time elapses (to prevent leaving them on forever)OR when the button is switched off most time the switch is a latching switch as well (not momentary) ...
What EXACTLY are you trying to accomplish ... |
