I have a scenario where I want to turn on the car power inverter once the ignition is on position. I have a rocker switch (3 prongs) with a dei 528t timer switch. I also want to power on the inverter whenever the car is off. (the inverter has +12/Gnd coming from the battery. I need to be able to turn on/off) Does anyone know if this will? thanks ahead of time.

I'm sorry your post makes NO sense to me ... If you want it on when the car is ON and OFF , wire it direct to the battery ...

What EXACTLY are you trying to accomplish ???

Sorry if is confusing to clear it up.

I have a inverter wired to the car battery. I want to be able to start the inverter with the acc/ignition line with a relay. Then wired a rocker switch to power the inverter when the car is off. Using relay 87a terminal in closed position I will get a constant 12v. How would I go on wiring the relay/switch/inverter together.

just put the invertor on a switch. turn the switch on when the cars on or keep the switch on when the cars off. much easier than what your trying to do

I am trying to do that. But I just put it in with the 'acc' line because it might blow the switch itself when powered. I need a way to flicker the switch.

My question above is asking if I can connect the ignition line to a relay and then to a switch.

I found this image: But I am going to switch the 'acc' line with terminal 30?
