I'm sure we have all seen these flashing red lights on people's dashboards to indicate they have an alarm system... Well, I'm cheap... I have a red 4.5V LED, can anyone help me out with diagramming this? I am planning on getting my 12V source from my clock's memory source, which holds a charge to remember what time it is while the car is off. How does something like 1 flash per second sound? If I can see a diagram, I can put the pieces together... but resistors, relays, switches....thats all cooky talk to me!

Go to radio shack , BUY a flashing LED , Buy a 12 volt relay , Wire relay coil to Switched ON and ground wire the N/C contact to the 12V Clock source , and the other side to the LED ...
When the car is on the relays pulled in , Light OFF turn car off , relay turns off , Light ON |
