I visited PG today and found out about the status of the Fusion kits, and controllers, and tubes, etc...

They were drop shipped from the factory in China yesterday so they should be in the US any day now. They do not have to go through US customs since they go through customs in China.

So for all the people waiting for stuff, the wait is almost over icon_lol.gif

They totally redesigned the controllers in a time period of 2 weeks. They will have instant color changes, and smooth color fading. Future models will allow you to upload new settings from your computer.

thats good i guess as long as there are no more problems.....when you say they will have smoth color fading does that mean that colors will fade into eachother now or just that the fade will still be one color but go alittle more smooth...and what do you mean by instant color change...i thought it already changed the colors one after another when t was on colorchange mode.....its pretty bad that i've had this kit since the begining and havent been able to use it enough to know how thats going to make a difference compared to what it was

that sounds great! there for a while i was contemplating just getting one of the Lite Glow LED kits, but now i may hold off on that. if PG has finally got their **** together, then maybe i'll consider getting the fusion kit instead.

Phil, did you get to see the new controller design? Do they look exactly like the current ones?
When you say they will have "instant color changes, and smooth color fading" what does that mean? Mine already changes colors instantly and the fading is already pretty smooth.

They were great people! I didn't look to closely at the new controllers but I saw one with serial ports on the back ( I guess for hooking up to the computer)

Well I am not sure about the details of the new controllers but I know they are totally redesigned and will have better features.

They are pretty frustrated with the Fusion kit problems too. They said one company that sells body kits has been waiting 3 months for their stuff to get through customs. I guess they wanted to hold off on airshipping as long as possible because it is costing them a lot of money.

For me, PG has been great to work with and I think the Fusion kit issue will be resolved soon.

if you think about it, the fusion kit is fairly simple (as far as i know). theres a controller that controls the ground wires (for the colors) and 5 power wires (for the sections of LEDs)

they definitely should have done a little more QA...rushing the product wasn't a good move.

New to the boards. *wave*

Question Phil. Will the kits that you get in now from PG come with the newly redesigned controllers AND extension cables? I was so close to buying one but after reading everything that was wrong with them, I decided not to.

Well.....how bout it?

Once I -know- that my PG kit will be complete and I would 99% most likely not have a problem with it, then I will buy it. I'm running a SG gold series purple kit now, no problems with it whatsoever. The PG LED kits are so sweet though and I really really want one.

Yeah I am pretty sure they wont have any problems. A ton of people got their new redesigned control boxes and don't seem to have any problems.
