Well I think you should go for a repaint and next time wax your car more often or don't buy it in that condition.

375 sounds right for just a roof being re done.....the color will match it wont be off like optika said so dont listen to him...........its cheaper to do the hole roof instead of just the spot were the clear is peeling because you'd have to feather edge the spots were the spot are...and it would take to much time fast just to strip to the bare metal and re paint

Unless you wanna get an el-Cheapo paint job at Earl Sheibs =P $500 for the whole car =P But it's not the same as factory paint.. they use cheap supplies and cheap labor. They even have a disclaimer at the bottom of the paperwork that says something like this is not the same as the dealership paint. There will be imperfections etc.. etc...

i still say save up and have the whole car repainted. look to spend about $2000 for a decent paint job and upwards to $3000-3500 for door jams, under the hood, trunk...

Optika1, Paint matching isn't that difficult these days. The exact mixture is logged at the factories. All the paint shop has to do is call up the dealership and ask for the paint codes for that VIN vehicle and they can get the exact color match.

the place i got my hood painted took a sample of the paint and color matched it with a computer. i only paid 75 bucks to get my hood painted and its the best body shop in clarksville. now keep in mind i do have hook ups but thats beside the point, cause it wouldnt have been much more than that anyway.
