I need to get a new exhaust for my 96 accord ex. I want something that will get me a performance gain and not sound like a bumblebee. I was thinking flowmasters, or are they just overrated?

Yeah, I want a borla, but they don't make full borla systems for this car. Oh... btw, all of the engine is stock as of right now, but hopefully by the end of the summer it will have some mods to help it sound better.

My friend just got a greddy exhaust on his Accord and it sounds great. I'm assuming you have four banger and if so it is almost impossible to get rid of the bumble bee sound at high RPM's.

Just put a resonater in with it.. it will give it a lower rumble at idle, like a muscle car (not exactly, but closer than without it).

Thanks for the advice, I do have a "four banger" as you put it icon_biggrin.gif I'll check out Greddy and dynomax to see what they have. I plan on doing headers and intake within a year or so I guess if that helps you folks out.

That magnaflow sounds pretty good. I'm impressed. Thanks for the video.... Do you have the full exhaust or just the muffler with a resonater?

Go to a custom shop. No need for a what. They will make what you want how you want it. icon_cool.gif

Yeah, except that I'm not exactly loaded in the money section right now. I should have the money within a month though.

Well I would think a muffler shop with a manderal bending machine is cheaper than a kit from Flowmaster, Maganflow or any other big name. But it's worth it to go and check on prices estimates are free. icon_cool.gif
