2 weeks

In 2 weeks, there will be no mores posts from me. I am leaving for the Air Force on 11 Oct 2005.

I'll start posting again once I get stationed somewhere. Try not to miss me toooo much.

good luck and stay safe...just talked to my sis husband who works for sentcom....back to Iraq he goes...deploys on the 1st and stationed in some **** just north of Baghdad (taji) I believe or somewhere around there....its where sadam had his head operations for chemical warfare facilities and nuclear weapons program....its really bad over there....just be hopeful your training isnt up before they send you abroad over there

i almost joined the air force. i told them that i want to go to college first and they were going to put me in rotc then have me do my service when i was done, but it came down to the fact that i couldnt make a decision like that.

try to have fun. my cousin is in the air force and was just sent to iraq.. he said its better than the army or anyhting else.. basic training will be easy if you have a strong mentality... its all about breaking you down... just be aware... they OWN you.. lol but try to have a good time and be safe

I got like a 90 on my ASVAB.
Passed all my eye/hearing tests. Got my flight physical, so I'm good to go.

I turn 20 during basic and I swear to god if any of you alert them to that information, your life will be hell.

i could actually get that through except i dont know enough information to tell my srg. so dont worry ;)
but yea i got an 89 so idk if its decent or not. i sucked ass on the mechanics part D=
but the science and math and others i did decent. i think.
but yea i couldnt follow through with it. i am not ready to leave. but maybe someday.

Lol, you only need like a 34 to go to the Marines I think? So 90 pretty much qualifies you for any job. Hell, the NAVY wanted me to be a nuclear engineer or w/e. I laughed at them when they said that. And he was like "what are you laughing at" and I was like "man, if you knew me, you wouldn't have offered me that job"

I wish I could become a Pilot. I didnt' do ROTC in HS or finish college so I'll have to find another way into the Officer ranks.

yea i was going to go through college rotc at bg and get a pilots licence, but by piolet, it doesnt mean i get to fly a cool jet or anything

when you get a slot as a piolet it means your pretty much on a roster where every so often you get a chance. or something idk the whole thing..

they will promise you anything to try to get you to sign..just cause they say you'll be a nuclear physisist or w/e doesnt mean you will be. they just want to give you self confidence and like them
