Yea they are phils leds only took me about 6 hours or total work including wiring and soldering and stuff
I did have them blinking using the controler from the Plasmaglow led kit but i dunno it wasnt all that great i kinda like them better solid... |

very nice. just out of curiosity, did you cut off the power to the dome light? i did when i hooked my thodes up so i could turn them on/off with the doors. my cathodes more than replace the brightness that the dome put out.

i think LEDs have nicer effect, but thodes are easier to hide when they're off. without the glass casing, the lighting elements are virtually invisible depending on where they're mounted. this is nice for security purposes and simply to be less tacky. |

hmm this is kinda like what I was thinking of doing cept mine would end up being from the front to the back.. have you any pics of the trim with these off? I am just trying to get an idea, cause I think I want the leds recessed into the trim rather then poking out. |

looks alright, im not really blown away by it but thats my opinion. kinda looks like christmas lights that u would put on a christmas tree from the view on the outside :-\

exactly lol... well kinda plus cameras also intensify glow more then it really is sometimes i mean yea they are bright but in the pic they almost look like 10mm leds lol..
