Maybe they were doing it for the hell of it, to see what times they could run. I intend on doing the same thing one of these days. Doesn't mean they're trying to show off.

ditto. So I have a 1.8L eclipse, non turbo. Should I stay off the track?

Some people do it to have fun. If they are slower, let the other car kill them, who cares.

Id do it to see what I can pull off. It'd be a fun thing for me to do.

basic HP gain chart...

Streetglow underbody- .5 hp
Plasmaglow underbody - 2 hp
Flowlighting Blaze- 5 hp
Flowlighting Inferno - 15 hp
ICEled - a staggering 30 hp

LP Frames gotta be somewhere around 1-1 1/2hp
CC's- 1-3 depending on color
1 Foot Blaze- 3-4
Trons- 10
ICEled floods- 17-20

now additions for ICEled...
zap controller adds no hp
EXP adds 5-10 depending on what youre controlling...
GEM adds 10-20 depending on what youre controlling...

this was a quick little thing...feel free to add
