if its anything like wisconsins - dont drive with colored lighting on.
this includes aftermarket colored turnsignals, underbody, strobes, accent lighting... make sure youre parked, and off the road/highway. |

Wisconsin has perfectly fine laws. I don't see why it's necessary to drive with all your lights on anyway.

I was wondering the iowa limits also so I went looking around. Stay away from blue lights, white lights, amber lights. No red on the front. Only Red on the back. For the amber and white it states no one can have flashing/strobing lights but with the blue it says.:A blue light shall not be used on any vehicle except for the following:" Also Any lighted lamp or illuminating device upon a motor vehicle other than head lamps, spot lamps, or auxiliary driving lamps which projects a beam of light of an intensity greater than three hundred candlepower shall be so directed that no part of the beam will strike the level of the roadway on which the vehicle stands at a distance of more than seventy-five feet from the vehicle. I don't think we have to worry about that line much though. |

Waterloo here, soon to be IA City. Ive had my blaze kit on for over a year now. Only been pulled over once, and that was about 2 weeks ago. (63$ ticket). I was real suprised because i drive all over Waterloo/Cedar Falls and never have any trouble with the cops. But i was in Hudson when i got pulled over, and i guess small town cops probably have nothin better to do...oh welll
