Got To Ride In A...

i just got to ride in my friends 2000 Z06 Corvette!!! OMG is that thing freakin AWESOME, to add to the already amazing horsepower, it has an exhaust, cold air intake, and oh yeah, a SUPERCHARGER!!! the thing is kickin out 560 real-wheel horsepower!!! they already got pulled over by a off duty cop for goin 100 but the cop didnt have a radar or anything to prove they were goin 100. but the car is crazy to ride in, i cant dream of what it is like to drive.

oh my...if i use my air force money to go into the fiero instead of a new car, it will be pushing 350+ after i get it back from archie and spend right under 10g

1) It's REAR-wheel, not real ;)

2) I believe they put out 500hp stock, I should hope it made a hell of a lot more than just 60hp with a supercharger...

WELL, pilot status and pay no. but i know what everything does in the ****. and if i do real good in my job i can get whats called an "incentive flight". thats where i get to ride in one. usually about halfway thru, the pilot asks if we want to take over. ergo making me temporary pilot. i just get to put all that **** on the wings.

i see. thats cool, i am going through college first rotc and getting a pilots liscence first and hopefully joining as an officer and pilot. did you take any college classes?

just a year. money prevented my education from expanding

but i bet it helped you out getting in the air force like job placement and enlistment rank, thats what i was wondering are you an e2 or 3?

college wont up your job/rank at all unless you have a degree to be an officer. the asvab and such decide what you qualify to do

you can go in as a higher enlistment rank with more credit hours in college.
the officer rank is why i am doing rotc and staying in college

I'm an e-3 (Airman First Class)

Depending on how many college credits you have, you can go into basic with rank. Everyone goes in as e-1 but if you've got like 20 you can go in as e-2. 40 something for e-3. high school rotc will get you e-3. boy scouts (depending on how long you were in and what not) will get you e-3. civil air patrol will get you e-3. i hope that helps, anyone else got questions?

yea i was going to do the e-3, but im going to bowling green to get the bachelors of aero and a pilots liscence. figure i mayas well go in as an officer.

its a good plan. mine was similar, but like i said, my fund's ran out and i didn't feel like getting in a huge debt. enlisted have more fun anyway.

thats cool. i got a free ride ti bg so funds are only for party and cars, so im going to go for it

if you're an officer and you're chillin w/ enlisted guys. you'll tell them to relax and stuff, but they'll still be like "okay...sir". its awkward.

true, but a major reason i am enlisting is financial status and i may be a lifer and the higher i am the sooner, the better.

but its alright, it would probably seem awkward at first and such, but im usually a really laid back person so theyd probably get to know me a bit.
