AND I'M LOSING MY MIND! IT'S BEEN OVER A WEEK!

Hehe, I know they're on backorder but I can't freakin' wait! It's like waiting for Christmas day, but not nowing exactly what date that is!

It is going to be much longer, Iceled has been very slow lately.

If you think you're losing you're mind, I am losing my mind since I have a bunch of people going without their products. Iceled just tells me 2 more weeks. They said that over month ago.

speaking of weird time... louisiana wants to pass a bill to make it stay daylight savings time all year round... how **** stupid is that?!?! They said something about it helping the businesses??

icon_eek.gif I feel your pain Soulquarian, I bought a whole car's worth of IceLED stuff recently and we're probably stuck in the same backorder together . I'm hoping the wait will just make the pay-off that much sweeter . Sort of like scoring with the girl that you've been checking out at work for two years.. you know . Antici...

Ok Phil, here's the skinny . I'm going up to Vegas the second week of June to visit friends and I need to show off ! icon_biggrin.gif I've been working on the improvements at a breakneck pace, I'll have the rest of the sound system by the end of next week, the rest of the interior trim and a new steering wheel should be mine by the end of May, and after that its just the lights . Your mission if you choose to accept it is to kill whomever necessary to have those lights shipped in and distributed by the first week of June . icon_twisted.gif
I mean, tunes and trim are nice, but what's really going to get the most attention after all ? biglaugh.gif

I started a thread at the official ICELED forums, and apparently people outside of the U.S. are having the same problem. One guy was told that ICELED had recieved some bad LEDs, and they were waiting for some new ones to ship...

But why didn't they just tell Phil that instead of giving him tons of dates that fell through?

I bought an ICELED Scanner a few 1 foot tubes and some Trons from Phil in the past year. They were shipped next day from Oznium no wait for them to make the trip across the big puddle. I normally ordered the item when they came out so maybe he had them in stock. Good luck guys. (Just wanted to let you guy know in the past the shipping/stocking has been excellent)

Thanks for the encouragement, Moss . My order has been in limbo for two weeks and I'd still say its the best customer service of any online retailer I've dealt with, so I'm not worried . Some things are under your control and some aren't . I appreciate your being honest Phil, instead of pumping people up with "any day now!"'s .

I ordered a scanner and a flood.

I also wanted to join the list of people saying that when I ordered my UFO almost a year ago, the shipping time was excellent. I'm not worried about getting them either. I just hope it's before my next car meet (I just had one and the new items missed it hehe) in July! LOL You won't find this customer complaining about Phil, he's been top notch with me.

I sent them an email and it said the following:

Dear sir

I do not know who your retailer is, but you should be directing your enquiries at them.

There are various reasons why supply is restricted at the moment, we expect return to some sort of normality in the next month or so.

Wednesday update: They are still working on production, factory is really busy producing other stuff for contract work, they had a few machines replaced so they lost some time. Still no date for shipping...

I'm the guy from Belgium who is waiting for 4 months to get his wheel arch kit. They told me they had recieved bad leds and had to order new ones.

I'm here to join the club!

2 weeks ago they told me it would be delevered on the end of this week, now it's friday evening and i havn't seen anything yet!

Now waiting for a reply from my retailer, who just like phil keeps me informed the best he can.

i'm only hoping one day i will recieve my kit with leds from the future, like 1watt leds or something.

Like Phil, all I can do is relay the (little) information I get when calling the factory. If this information turns out not to be accurate, there's nothing I, or any other distributor, can do about it. (Except for contacting them again.)

Personally I feel just as "had" as the customer himself. Let's all hope things will get sorted soon.
