| Kwonrae | Posted: Mar 24 2009 12:08 pm | | Well thanks Britt, I like your style better, as long as a guy doesn't drive them.
Little update on this car, about 3 years ago My Ex GF's mother let the neighbor borrow this car one day and he brought it back no problems...right?? NOPE!
Now this guy was a good friend of her, been neighbors for years.
Turns out he made a copy of her house key( it was on the key chain) broke in to her home the next day, stole checks, jewelry and car keys. Took the Eclipse without permission and went and robbed a bank. He ran from police and crashed into his buddies trailer where the police later discovered tons of cash, other peoples blank check books and a meth lab. Insurance totaled the car because of drugs in the trunk, so she got her 11k(more than she was selling it for). He now lives in prison. |

| RomanceDefekt | Posted: Jun 17 2008 08:10 pm | | I spent soooo much time looking for 2g eclipses, all of my friends have 2g's as well and I helped them all find there cars. Most of them went out of state. This car is extremelyyyyyy clean, I am not going to argue that at all. but I thought it was a GS-T and still though 10k was a little steep. Even a dealership wouldn't charge that. Although prices are different in every area, if you were in ohio, we'd be laughing at you for trying to sell it for that much. Even GSX's that clean stock only go for 8k. Good luck with the sale. |
| Rags | Posted: Jun 06 2005 12:11 pm | | | i am going to agree with phil, know your cars before you argue a price. to be honest, you need to look at the owner, the mods, and condition, not just the millage. for this car i would have to say 10k is not a bad asking price going off of kb or even topical street pricing. welcome to the forums fayt; but dont get too ****. |
| Fayt | Posted: Jun 06 2005 10:17 am | | | $10,000 for a 99 gs/rs spyder with 46k miles? Please. I'd ask for $7000 at MOST. Just saw a 99 RS w/23k miles (nonspyder) go for $4900. |
| Phil | Posted: Jul 07 2004 02:38 am | | | $10,000 seems like a good deal to me |
