What is the measurement of pressure to activate the switch. Can this be used in a scinece project where a golf ball will land on it from approx two-three inches above and trigger the lights and bell? - by Bud (Bucks County, PA)

Answer

We do not have the instrument needed to find out how much pressure it would take to activate the switch.
I don't think a golf ball from 3 inches high would do it. Most of our switches have a heavy/snappy click to them.

I'm hoping they are small enough to fit into the spot where the fog light button is supposed to go in my Honda, so my question is what are the exact dimensions of the switch? - by Laurence (Highland Mills, NY)

I have a Honda too, these switches are not the same size.

Are these switches weather proof? - by Chris (Michigan)

Answer

They will hold up ok to moisture, however no - none of our switches are weather or waterproof, and are recommended for interior use. I personally have a rocker switch on my motorcycle, and it has gone through rain and baths with the hose no problem. I usually give it lots of time to dry before using it, though. Just some thoughts for ya.
