Question
If order a set of 4 which I would like to use on the underside of my gas tank on my motorcycle (2 sets per side), can I just cut the wires myself or should I order two sets of two?
Thanks. - by John
Answer
You can easily cut the wires.
Question
i see a guy asked about the underbody application, i'm planning to put 6 of these under my motorcycle (3 on each side) which sits about 8" off the ground, how do you think this would look for my style of application? they would each be spaced about 1 foot apart over a 24" section on each side of the bike. - by Preston (Gilbert, Az)
Answer
Really all lighting set ups are up to the user, one set up might be cool with me but not with you.
My version of cool might be different from yours. I cant really say what will look good for your motorcycle.
I do not drive a motorcycle, I have a Mustang.
Question
How would these work in an underbody application? Roughly 11-12 for each side, 6-7 for the front and back. Would be on a Scion tC about 4 inches from the ground. Would the glow be splotchy if the modules were spaced about an inch apart? - by Austin (Tennessee)
Answer
I don't think you'd be satisfied with these in an underbody application. You wouldn't be able to angle them without custom fabbing some brackets or something, and with them facing straight down only 4-5 inches from the ground, the glow won't be all that wide - maybe a foot or so. These would be great if you wanted to make some puddle-style lights, but not really for a UB.
Question
Which is brighter one of these or one Superflux 4 Chip LED?
Answer
The regular "neutral" White would be the brightest.
Question
can these be twisted for a 180 degree viewing angle? to one forward and two either side? You have distributors in ontario? - by joe (toronto ontario)
Answer
Not sure what you mean, the casing on these are not flexible.
Sorry, We do not have distributors in Canada.
Question
would these or the square of 4superflux or the flexible led strips be better for putting some glow behind the grills of my tc? because the flex. LED strips I could wrap around but these might be better for aiming down??

thanks - by Nick (Cedarburg)
Answer
Please visit our Forum and Photo Galleries, there are many pics of tC's with grille glow.
It might help in making a decision for your car.
Question
Is there anything like this of the same dimensions except half an inch less in length? Maybe with 2 LED instead of 3?
Answer
No
Question
Is the million color positive common or negative common and how many of these can I run with your million color controller?
Answer
The Rectangular Superflux LED Channel Light is not available, however the RGB 3 Round Module would be a good substitute for this. Each will pull 60mA so you would be able to safely control about 80 pieces with the Million Color Controller.
Question
How are these wired? I see two sets of +/- wires coming out.
Answer
You can use any 12V power source. Simply connect one side to your power source. They are sold in continuous chains for your convenience.
Question
Can I wire these in-line with any light source circuit in my car (e.g. dome light) without needing a voltage regulator or resistor?
Answer
Yup, as long as the light source you are hooking it up to is 12v.
