I have a multi color kit. but it came with no instructions where the hek do i connect the box to. i thought it pluged into the cigarette lighter but it doesnt have that. it just has a red and black wire!

The red and black wires are you power cables, connect to car battery.

How do the colors of the multi-color kit compare to a StreetGlow single color? Are they as colorful or bright? And are there as many patterns (strobe, chase, etc.) as the single color kit?

Answer

The colors will be very similar in color, however an individual color (IE if the multi-color kit was set to all blue) will not be as bright as there are not as many LEDs on the multi-color kit than the single color. And yes, there are many creative patterns on the multi-color kit, some are similar if not identical to the single color.
