You are going to have to measure your headlights to figure out which size fits, you should be looking at the CCFL Kits.
This Scion tC Angel Eyes are meant for that particular car. And color choice is really up to you.

They will "work" with any car. They might not fit perfectly though.

I have a 2008 lancer can you help me and tell me how to measure to see what size angel eyes i need? the lancer headlights are kinda like the TC and not full circles so i need to know how to measure them.

You need to measure the diameter of you headlight and figure out what it is in millimeters.
Check out the CCFL Kits, we carry 70mm, 80mm, 120mm 128mm and 146mm.

do you guys know what are the sizes i need for 08 headlights...? i do also want try installing red ones for my taillights, so that they only come on at night like normal parking lights... if im thinking of the right bulbs(the ones that are on at night/not the brake light)

We are currently making prototypes and testing them for the 08 tC's.
Not sure of the size yet, our manufacturers haven't given us all the data yet.

I live in MN. I was thinking about getting blue. Are the Blue ones legal? I know blue HID are illegal but can I have Blue Angel Eyes?

Answer

Sorry, no idea about the legality. You could always just put them on a switch and turn them on at car shows, etc.

It totally depends how you install them. You could install them so they turn on with the parking lights, or you could add an on/off switch to control them.

If I have a clear bra cover on the lenses of the headlight would I need to take it off before I do any baking? - by jet

I can't tell you for sure because I've never had experience with baking headlights that have a clear protective film. Perhaps someone on the forums can tell you for sure. Or just try it and find out. I honestly doubt anything bad would happen.

If they are such a great fit, how come they are so easy to break? Any tips for not breaking them?

Answer

They are easy to break because they are extremely fragile. To keep them from breaking during the install, you just have to be very careful.

To keep the angel eye as bright and attractive as possible, we use a very thin (3mm diameter) glass tube. And of course, the thinner the glass tube is, the more fragile it is. We could use a much larger tube, or even an LED setup, but the result would not be as attractive.

This modification is not easy. It requires a lot of skills and patience. But of course, once you finish the install, your tC will turn a lot of heads.

Any plans to make the product stronger and a better fit?

Answer

The only way to make a CCFL stronger is to encapsulate it in something, like an acrylic ring. Doing so would increase the cost, and is not necessarily the effect that a lot of people are looking for. As for a better fit, these are designed for the tC and should fit well already, as long as they are installed properly.

Any action photos we have available are already on the product page. You'll have to ask your fellow Scion owners if any of them have the kit in red installed, as we do not have any photos of them.

Which can you see more with the headlights or HIDs on..the blue or white ones?

I don't know exactly. I haven't seen both white and blue side by side with the headlights on.

I have the white Rage Halos, but I cannot see the smaller circles when my HIDs are on. Can you see these halos (either white or blue ones) when your HIDs or regular headlights are on?

i know this install requires baking of the headlights, 20 minutes @ 200 degrees on cookie sheet and bake. i have carbon fiber eyelids and tint film over my headlights, can the lights still be baked at this temp, or will it likely melt the tint and epoxy on the eyelid??

Answer

We don't really know for sure. Our best guess is that it would melt or at least distort the tint film. Not sure what it would do to the epoxy on the eyelid. Best to be safe and remove those things before baking.

We offer a one-year warranty that covers defective products. Installation errors, broken rings, etc are not covered.

We only do custom kits in bulk, no one-off orders. However there is a possibility we will be doing the halos for the 2008 tC as well. The demand for them seems to be pretty good. Keep an eye on the site for more info.

For the 'White' colored CCFL, what HID color would match it? On other websites offering these say their's are 8000K and 6000K..

Answer

4000-5000k would be the closest HID color to the white cathodes. They are a very pure white color, since it is just a florescent tube. 6000k and up HIDs will have blue/purple color to them.

Answer

No, they are a very plain, bright white. Just like a florescent light in your basement, only much smaller. I suppose about 4000-4300k would be the appropriate temperature to match.

They should be okay as long as they are secured properly.

Also consider using the full-circle angel eye kit for the best effect.

No current plans to develop angel eyes for the 08 Scion tC, however if the popularity of the tC continues as new years come out, we'll probably develop something.

It will "work" with any car / 12 volt source, but it will not fit the 08 tC.

They will work anywhere you have a 12 volt power source. It could work on any car an ATV, a motorcycle, or even a horse (if you carry a big battery pack)!

We can produce them in yellow, but since it is not a very bright or vivid color, we chose not to make them. If you are certain you want yellow, we ask that you pay twice as much since it will be custom produced. If you're ready, just order it online and include a note in the comments that you need it in yellow.

If you drill the holes right for the wires to go through, it can be mostly pressure fit. Then you can use a bit of glue to stabilize it.

Not flexible at all. Its a very fragile thin glass tube.

Answer

It is a glass tube. Sort of like a neon tube, but it is CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lamp). It is just like our cathode kit, except there is no outer acrylic tube. There are no LEDs.
