Question
I had installed a Streetglow Gold Series underbody kit on my vehicle last year myself, and after only an hour I had to witness the tube from under my front end crashing down the road behind me in my rearview mirror. I was a little disappointed to say the least. And now that I have the UFO kit, I am NOT going to risk the chance of installing it myself only to lose a grand worth of underbody an hour later. Are there shops that I can take my car to to have the underbody installed professionally? And if so what kind of shops should I look for in my area? Just regular auto shops? Or Car Audio shops? Etc? I don't know of any shops near me that do underbody's. - by Christopher (Ohio)
Answer
I would look for a car audio shop. They usually do underglow installations
Question
I am planning on buying, either a V2 Underbody kit or the ICELED U.F.O. underbody kit they are both great products.(i really want a wheel weel to sync to my under glow thats the same product, and but.. seems like its not gonna happen)
1).But, why is the ICELED U.F.O. sooo much more expensive than the V2?....seriously ,,
I also uderstand that the V2 underbody and V2 wheel weel CANNOT be synced together like ICELED products can(oh i dont want to use the 6" V2 to replace the wheel weel sorry).. and
2).What would i use for a wheel weel kit if i do buy the ICELED product?
Thanks oznium doin great sorry for the long E-mail.. but its my car you know lol thanks

Answer
The ICELED products are more expensive because of the engineering put into them, also ICELED products are not made until they are ordered, Basically custom made every time. Their engineering gives the LED patterns a smoother flow and more options.
Also if you go the ICELED route for your wheel wells, ICELED does make smaller tubes for that.
Take a look at the ICELED TRON, which is a 6inch tube just like Oznium's.

Question
I want to do a whole setup of ICELED. What would be my best bet for the wheel wells? I want to mount about the wheel not behind it. Thanks! - by Ryan (Philadelphia)
Answer
I would recommend this kit if you wanted to go around the wheel well instead of behind. http://www.oznium.com/streetglowmcww
Question

As long as you do a good job while installing it, the Iceled UFO kit will hold up great in winter conditions. Check this out: http://www.oznium.com/articles/3
Question
If I buy the scanner product as I understand it they will sync with the underbody but can I have the scanner go to a stationary color and hold with the underbody controller and have the rest off. Or have to buy seperate controller. - by Tom (Woodland, Washington)
Answer
Yes, you can add a switch to the red power wires in between the UFO ECU and the underbody tubes. That will allow you to turn the tubes off while using the ECU to control the scanner by itself. Just so you know, the scanner cannot do a single solid color - it will always move in some way. If you want just the scanner on and have it scan a single color, that's totally doable.
Question
I drive a 2004 Jeep Wrangler with a bit of ground clearance and a habbit of going off road, do you think these underbodies could cover the clearance of a vehicle like mine? And do you think thses underbodies could take a beating on a trail? - by Parker (Ohio)
Answer
Absolutely!
Question
im sorry i'm a little confused the kit I intend to buy is the iceled ufo kit. And I want to know if they are durable like the inferno v2? can a car be run over a iceled ufo kit? and still be ok?sorry for the confusion
Answer
Yes it is nearly indestructible just like the V2.
Question
My worst fear is breaking it. Can I run over these tubes like you did on the video? - Not that I plan on doing so, but how durable are they? Better than the Inferno or not?
And another question why are they so expensive? Just wondering.
And another question why are they so expensive? Just wondering.
Answer
Your fear is simply unfounded. You can drive over it.
The Inferno V2 uses poly carbonate tubes. The Inferno uses acrylic. Here is the result of driving over each: http://www.oznium.com/images/poly_comparison.jpg
The Inferno V2 has a lot of advanced features. It uses SuperFlux 2-chip LEDs which are very expensive and bright.

Question
how do the exp tubes work? when you order a "1ft exp kit" do you get 4 1 foot tubes? and how do they hook up with the origional tubes.
Answer
You should read the EXP kit product description. Here's the link: http://www.oznium.com/exp
When you order a "1ft EXP kit" you get 2 x 1 foot tubes. They are for the sides of the car. They hook up to an EXP ECU which then hooks up to the original ECU.

I got an ICELED UFO kit and I was wondering if the lights would be brighter if I could figure out a way to get a DC to DC converter so I can get 18 volts or is there a regulator in it. - by mike (Lewiston, Id)
Answer
There is a regulator in the ECU. There is no way to make the kit brighter than it already is.
