So I came out of school today all happy ready for a nice night dinking around iwth my car (had some plans to do), and then I see THIS:
User posted image
waiting for me in the parking lot.
I was FRICKIN LIVID.
So ***hat smashed into my car, and not just putzing along either, that's a big smash in that door.
Told the cops, of course, then got an estimate.. $2000, ouch. Oh well, it's only a $250 deductible.
I've got a crap ton of people on my side looking for cars (especially red cars, there was some red in the damage) with corner damaged to them.
I have a couple in mind that may have done it, especially a Red Lumina Euro Spot I saw dirving away fast and reckelssly.
It kind of fits, red Luminas have a black bit stripe on their bumper, and the bottom part of the dent was black, and then obviously red because it was red. I sure hope I see it when I search through the parking lot during an off period tomorrow, heh.

This also means a new paitjob for the whole car is coming a little sooner than summer! Metallic blue of some sort icon_cool.gif

Well, that's it, just felt like sharing.

There WERE two had prints on my window, like a little kid would do looking into a candy shop. I was suspicious but the cop shrugged them off when I showed him.
It's like someone decided to unlock my door by ramming it off the hinges. At least it didn't work.

You'd be surprised how much easier it is to smash a window out.

Hit & Run's suck. I had one last summer, It was Friday, payday, i was feeling good, strolling out of my job and i get a phone call. It's my girl at the time, wants to think things over, needs space, well there goes my weekend plans, but at least my Suburban is looking sharp for a weekend of cruising, especially after the bath i gave it last night, and the vacuum and wipe-down of the interior. Right? Wrong! The road construction nearby had backed one of there trailers into my rear quarter panel. Essentially ruining my truck.

Couldn't pin it, they were in good with the cops, denied it all. Never could afford the crazy deductible, or the body work. so i drove it like that all summer.
