Pre-order @ $119.94 SHIPPED

After a long and costly molding process, I finally have something to show.

First, the Scion tC's have a third brake light about 20" wide, but only the middle 6" or so actually lights up. It looks much better when the full thing lights up. The full third brake light will sell for just over $100.

Second, the Scion tC's have amber turn signals in the side mirrors. Some people have retrofitted them with other color LEDs, such as blue, white, or even red. There will be a direct swap in light housing with R, G, and B LEDs that can produce any color. The user will be able to select a color to drive with, and the user will also be able to put it into a show mode. The turn signals will sell for just over $70.

I bought a few replacement 3rd brake lights from Toyota and sent them to a factory in China with my requirements. They created a mold and will produce the new product.

I went to inspect the factory in China

Literally plug and play. Just snap off the old connector, and snap in the new one.

You get the entire housing. There's no swapping or retrofitting. It is a brand new lense. You can keep your stock one in storage.

Testing fit of the new side mirror signal lenses. They are a bit darker/smoked and they have multi-color LEDs

Third, I'm thinking about making an Iceled Scanner-like third brake light. Million color capable for show use, with stock red for street use. It'll be sure to turn heads.

the LED's in the stock 3rd BL look like they have a much wider viewing angle and are brighter.

Nice ideas though.

I like the refined look of the replacement unit. It's like, look at me I have LED's, dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot...the untrained eye would just see a blurb of fat glow with the stock one, emulating a halogen bulb...like blub blub blub blub.

To put it bluntly. icon_biggrin.gif biglaugh.gif

A smallish town by the name of Danyang, pretty close to Nanjing. The town is famous for automotive parts such as headlamps, taillamps, bumpers, body kits, etc.

Why?

I usually travel with family from Hong Kong to different cities in China during the beginning of summer. Been to Shanghai, Beijing, Xian, etc. I was just wondering if I had been to the city that the factory was in. I was just in China about a week or so ago and it was starting to get very humid...

Best customer brake light I think I've seen. I hope everyone appreciates how perfect the lights look. Too many manufacturers allow the LEDs to be crooked! yuck

We need some sort of scanning tube made by Flowlighting. The meteors are ridiculous. First set was bad, second set that was replaced for free was bad also.

Flowlighting FTW.

Nice stuff btw Phil.

Do it phil. It will be a poor mans Ice. I beg you, and I think others will agree.

And add a controller similar to the Meteors.

Yes, million colors = any color you want.

Stand alone scanner --- you won't need to plug it into an UB kit to work it.

Why not integrate the Scanner into the Third Brake light, have a switch setup some way that when the switch is on, the third brake light acts like a scanner, and when it's off, it acts like a Third brake light. Worth a shot.
