Woot originated as a hacker term for root (or administrative) access to a computer. However, with the term as coincides with the gamer term, "w00t".

"w00t" was originally an trunicated expression common among players of Dungeons and Dragons tabletop role-playing game for "Wow, loot!" Thus the term passed into the net-culture where it thrived in video game communities and lost its original meaning and is used simply as a term of excitement.

Indeed. I've got guite a few things during woot offs. My most recent purchase was a automatic hose reel for the backyard. I ended up getting it for 75% off or something crazy, and it's freaking awesome.

I ship those all the time in bubble envelopes, costs like $3 I think, and that's with delivery confirm. How much would you want total? I understand you'd need to buy the envelope, cover the paypal fee, wouldn't mind to make a buck, etc.

I already have the lemon yellow one. Didn't even know they had put one on kids.woot, but I'm okay with having missed it.

I have been logged in and hit "Buy it now" for a BOC twice. I have never made it through the checkout process. Just last night I placed an order. Then I realized that I wouldn't get all that was pictured unless I bought a qty of 3, so I tried to go back and buy 2 more. Except you can't place two orders for the same item. Emailed them asking to up my qty to 3. Got an email 12 hours later saying "sorry, don't have the quantity anymore." I really hate Woot, but I keep coming back.
