Took some pics this weekend of my engine bay. The lighting is just the beginning, but it is a 9.5" flex strip in the back and a 19" down in the front. Night shots will be coming soon.

Thanks! I used a technique I read about on a Scion forum. Put a 12mm open headed wrench on the bolt, and tap the other end lightly using a hammer. It sounds scary but if you're careful it works out well. The following pic was taken from that forum:

Looks really clean. Get some glow shots at dusk or later, high noon glow shots aren't that cool icon_lol.gif

Appreciate all the comments guys. I got the engine cover because the stock one has a Toyota logo on it. Would rather have a Scion logo on it or nothing, and got this one used from a friend so it all worked out. Plus it adds an "Oooo awww" effect at shows. icon_biggrin.gif

The stock tCs have about 160 horse, and mines got a few more than that (no dyno runs). And yes, pics at a time later than high noon will ensue shortly. Lol.

Got it used, so I don't know where he got it. I know you can get a different one with the Scion logo from www.trdsparks.com.

Touche. With my ongoing n/a power mods I'll get to 160whp someday...someday. Lol.

And yes, more flex strips and night shots will come shortly. Don't know if mine will ever "pop" as much as yours tho. Lol.

V6 Accord? The tC is still a 4-banger.

I have a 4-banger accord. Yes, I know that the TC is a 4 Cylinder as well.

Hmm interesting. I have found the stock 5-spd to be quicker than most 4-cyl. I guess our opinions are all relative to our own experiences. Lol.

^true. I've never gone head to head with a TC, so I wouldn't know for sure.
