I know PT's aren't the most liked here but I thought I would post some pics from a show this past w/e. It was an East Coast/West Coast event on the boardwalk in Wildwood NJ. We had cars in from California and Arizona. The work put into some of these is great. If you hate PT's - Don't look.

There was also a monster truck show on the beach. This one was parked at a hotel across the street.

Not really a fan of the PT Cruiser but that steering wheel (2nd picture) looks sweet!

They make 2 door PT's?

That first one posted is awesome, I don't like the gaudy wheels or the mirrors but the rest of it is awesome. I am impressed!

Only the convertible is 2-door. Some people have welded the 2nd door and smoothed it out to make a panel PT.

PerplHze, no tailgate displays this year?

How many cars were there?

I didn't go this year. Too far to drive with 2 kids, plus too much politics last time I was there... icon_rolleyes.gif It's too bad, since it's a great venue.

The HHR offers a factory panel option. If you want a panel PT it's an aftermarket conversion

This was another panel there -

There were tailgate displays as always. I really don't take pics of them.

I don't recall anyone one announcing the car count but I would guess somewhere in the 150 - 180 range. Mark had said it was down from last year which was 200 some.

There's no panel PTs. That's purely custom.

The blue one is soo sick icon_cool.gif

That first PT you posted looks absolutely great, but I have to agree with the other guys about the wheels and the mirrors not looking right. Also I'm not a fan of those taillights,as they just look like a simple direct fit hot rod style replacement lense.

Thanks for sharing your pics. icon_smile.gif

that blue one is pretty slick...im not a fan of PTs but to each his/her own....I like the suicide doors and shaving that he did on the body....would have thought he would have done a little more with the interior such as leather or suede seating etc....especially with the amount of money he has invested....rocker panel with side pipes is kick ass though
