I'm thinkin about getting one. Like a small one (125 or less) just to rip around on while my friends off road their trucks/SUV. There probably aren't much differences between the manufacturers or anything but if you've got one, what is it? Where can I get one for cheap? Like, couple hundred bucks cheap.

That one could be anywhere from 50-110cc...

Umm... I don't know about a couple hundred bucks cheap, there's the:

XR Series (Trail bikes by honda) Come in 50, 70, 100, 125, and 250.

TT-R series (Trail Bikes by Yamaha) Sizes - 90, 125, 250cc

The KLX (Kawasaki) and DRZ (Suzuki) 110cc's are nice as far as trail bikes.

KLX shown, they're the same bike, different colors (DRZ is yellow)

The XR 100 is the biggest, followed by the KLX/DRZ 110, then the TTR 90 in size. The 110's are HIGHLY modifiable, there is a huge amount of aftermarket parts available to do whatever you want with them.
Definitely get a 4-stroke play-bike(all mentioned here are 4-strokes)... don't get an old 2-stroke, there's too much work to do to them. I would suggest a TTR 125/250 or an XR 125/250

I've got a Honda CRF450R Race bike.... but it's not gonna be a couple hundred bucks cheap biglaugh.gif

I've seen people backflip those... Seen some of those little pitbikes that have 10K worth of mods done to them.

Well I'm not sure I want something new. I don't really plan on taking care of it too much. I just want something small and something cheap. Better?

Look up USED ones of the one's I mentioned, they'll last forever, even with little work... I've got a TTR90 in the shed... Had it for 7 years now.

You won't find even a used one of the first ones posted for cheap... but you can probably find a used 110 for less than a grand... maybe $500 or so.

I got a 2001 KTM 125 sx.

It was a steal, I got it for $1500 when it was only one year old!

I have no idea... I used to go to motoclass.com all the time.... it has gone away though.

I'd try CYCLE TRADER as a start... see what you can come up with.

Yeah, but they're not likely to have a specific bike like this for sale in a local newspaper...

More than likely to find one SOMEWHERE in South Carolina on cycle trader.
