It has been done many times and I believe there might be some "How Too's" somewhere. Are you wanting to run a new power wire from the battery so you can add more glow later or just looking to tap into an existing circuit?

Basically, you're going to get power from somewhere and then wire it to a switch. Then connect the other side of the switch to the positive of some LEDs (prewired are commonly used). Then connect the grounds to some bare metal or a bolt/screw that goes into the metal. Mounting the LEDs in the vents is semi-specific for each vehicle.

Its very easy to do.

Get access to vents, run wires, drill hole for LED's, insstall LED's, clean up, then flip switch.

Sometimes the vents just pop out for easy install, other times you have to take aprat the dash which is usually just time consuming and not too difficult.

Here's mine:

I need to get some more pics of mine. I have one red superflux in each vent now. Gonna add a second to the center vent since its actually two.

My car involved take out the entire top dash pad in order to "properly" install lights and add wiring.

Right now I have one red superflux in each vent. I am getting ready to add a second red superflux to the center since it is a little bigger.

Only 1 LED in the center vent for now. I got another one coming though, so soon it will have two.
