I was wondering what the conversion method would be, like a 4.7" flex strip uses 80 mA. How could i convert that to amps? to tell me that a 4.7" flex strip uses X amount of amps? Any comments appreciated.

Move the decimal place over 3 spaces (which is the same as dividing by 1,000).

So, 80mA would equal 0.080A

Opposite of mA to A. So you would move the decimal place 3 spots to the right (same as multiplying by 1,000).
