I concur....it looks good painted black, but its too tall and not wide enough for the trunk lid....maybe try moving it back a little bit towards the rear of the decklid?

Nice car - but to be honest.

I think it looks like ass. No sugar coating here.

Don't take offense to that - just voicing my opinion.

thats what EVERYONE says. "i'll do performance after i waste money on how it looks" and then once they do *performance* they spend 300-500 bucks on worthless **** that wont really do much.
so
since you have possibility for decent numbers. do it right. my younger sister has a 98 gst with 465 horse and traps mid high 120's with street tires running high 12's

whats a the point of performance when it usually kills ur MPG and will lead to speeding tickets. im all for appearance not only does your car look better, no one sees your engine bay when ur driving down the road.

the point of performance has been the point for ever owner of a car. theres people who tune their car for gas milage, or people who tune them to run 9's. but really what point is there to making the ground light up under your car or have switches for bells and wistles. honestless its those things that just blow my mind. granted i was there, when i was 16, but to me you become more of a target by cops with neons, and trying to make your car look like a tuner or race car or whatever, than actually owning a racecar.
mpg, i have multiple cars. i dont drive the 3000gt on the street anymore, and the roadrunner is el' broke.
so i drive a blue little cavalier.

short version. all of you who like having a "show car", deep down would rather have a racecar.

ur saying that having neons and exterior mods attract the cops, but turbos with blow off valves, strait pipes with no cat, doin 90 mph wont attract cops?

short version. you cant be pulled over for looking good

you dont need to speed on the street. thats why god gave us raceways.
do you think every built car screams everywhere it goes?
no
as for your "looking good"
that first statement you made about no ones going to be looking in my engine bay or whatever
you have your intake cover and other crap spray bombed blue and all stock parts.
also under you "future plans" you have a 200 dollar intake. now why would you say you just want to look good. that intake is advertised for "speed" when in reality there are way better options if thats the route you want to take.

either way, i see more ricers than racers get pulled over because anyone with balls, and brains knows not to race around town and save it for the track.

^^ I do auto cross. So high HP isn't needed. Tis why i bought coil overs and eibach sways and then going after a JRSC. Different setups for different people. I think i apent all of 150 on looks. And i like how it sits on the outside now.

i "spray bombed" it for a clean look, not having to spend thousands of dollars to make it look good, and my profile hasn't been updated since 06/10/06, so keep that in mind next time u criticize someone.

well then if you dont want people such as myself to assume your just some punk ricer, update it. and by spray bombing it you wanted it to look like you had thousands invested? honestly that kind of **** just looks tacky as hell. bright contrasting colors on an eco-box just makes me want to vommit in my mouth. but its ok, i was 16 once too.

as for autocross, that seems to be where im heading with mine as well. ksport coilovers with pillowballs, camber and toe rods ect.
found a motor!

I have spray bomb can't tell at all. Used black to pretty some stuff up that was staying put, but needed a new look.

For auto cross i will be running, Eibach Pro Coilovers, Eibach 22mm Front and 25 mm Rear sways, new endless sway links. Eibach rear camber bolts new in the box, (on my shelf). Then alignment. icon_cool.gif

autocross sport touring will need a certain amount of horse.
every class in many touring events require a certain amount of horse, unless your doing it with a focus club. such as NASA 3si doesnt have power limits or restrictions, its a specific model.
i do the mid-ohio thing than their classes are strict in many events when it comes to power.

The classes we are in out near lexington and lousiville for the most part aren't based off power. They are classified by modifications. And also car mods. Like weight reduction gutting. Currently i am one above our lowest class. With eh suspension and SVT header and new exhaust i will still be in the same class and will be at about 148WHP. That's being quite moderate too.

I won;t be going with FI just yet so i can take her out and get adjusted to the new setup before i throw more power behind it.

Luckily i know a few local plice and they are cool. They get me a day sometimes on a empty lot they let me use, i have 4 track layouts and i use plastic cups. They won't move typically and are visible and safe to hit lol.

Gets me pracitce on different styles so i can adjust. I am hoping i can order the new camber plates for the front as well.....

Total thread jack i apologize. Rags if you want to talk more pm me if you can.

**** rags and his twin turbo kit signature [/jealousy ;) ] but damn he's right... I'd rather have a car that looks stock and smoked the hell out of a modded civic or srt4 that had another 60 pounds of fiber glass molding and paint on it...

on the other side, I'm still investing in lights before I do any type of mods to my car... I'm contemplating a nice tax return and hopefully another economic stimulus check =P~ exhaust, UDP, high-flo cat, headers, coilovers, a drop, i dunno where to start! but damn my car needs a spoiler (OEM LOOK PLZ) it looks blue-hair without one puppy_dog_eyes.gif
