Well its going to be my first time...i'm not afraid of heights really but not a HUGE fan of roller coasters either. My girl got me reservations to go skydiving with her for our anniversary so just trying to see what to expect.

Hell yes.

Did a tandem jump from about 12,000 feet in beautiful Hawaii. Jumped barefoot too! What's even crazier, is that I did a night scuba dive later the same day.

The 40 seconds of free-fall seriously felt like 5 seconds.

I went a second time in Monterey, CA at 18,000 feet. Even thinking about getting certified.

If you haven't done this, I highly recommend it.

You'll be happy to know that skydiving feels nothing like a roller coaster. As soon as you hit the air, it "pushes" back at you, so you just feel like you're floating. Stick your hand out the car window at 60 mph. Now imagine your whole body is feeling that wind, except at double the speed. When the instructor pulls the parachute (they'll warn you first), you'll feel a bit of a jolt.
