Did you get an overlay for the tail lights or did you get them lightly sprayed on the exterior?

Looks knarly, maybe paint the rivits and stars on the wheels gloss black and leave the rest of them matte. Would make it a lot darker. I would also tint the headlights, lose the chip shield thing on the hood, paint the calipers exhaust tip and foglight surrounds gloss black. Truck is looking a ton better then when you first started posting pictures.

Thanks to everyone who likes what I've done with it, if anyone has anyone suggestions to what I should do, let me know! I'm all ears!

hyewarrior wrote:

Yeah it's like a film, similiar to window tint, but it's made for tail lights, weird... I know.

Ryan88 wrote:

Headlights are stocked, they were just baked, opened up, and blacked out!

Thanks for the ideas, I've thought about blacking out the rest of the wheels & the fog light surrounding. I will probably do a dual exaust with blacked out pipes as well.

Rockstar wheels eh? my buddy has em on his f350 that he has jacked...
Honestly since you still have the racks/side bars why not get a simple front push bar? would really pull it all together more I think...

Or another maybe... I know you have good taste now ;) heh
Also... def tint the 3rd brake light... just standing out as of now... I like how you did the tint lightly!

You are nothing but negative to other people's rides... maybe you should try and customize the ride you have and then post some pictures other than the basic headunit and sub upgrade that every little kid will do...

At least he is taking pride in his car and takes care of it...

It's not weird... I bought a few feet of it to try on my tail lights and I failed miserably icon_sad.gif

Because white decals stand out like bird **** on a black shoe on tinted windows. Black decals look sweet, you can see it if your looking for it.

IMPO, decals just don't look good in general and if you have to basically hide it, why have it at all.

Yeah that would look good with some fogs like that wouldn't it? I might consider that, thanks for the idea, I've messaged with that guy before, I think he won SOTW on Cardomain.

thesull wrote:

i asked them what it was and it wasn't lamin-x, they told me but I can't remember, Headlight Armour, maybe? I'll find out when I go back to have my 3rd brake light done.

Yeah man, I think I remember seeing you, one of the only tC's with HID's, yours are around 6k, if I'm correct?

It stands out well in person, but just doesn't show up at all in the pics, and I'm blacking my 4Runner out, there's no way I'd put any other color on there.
