i couldnt get my camera to catch all the lights, but ill try again when it gets darker.

bar is made of tomar Rect-13ls
red/blue/red/white/blue/red/blue

i still need to work on the wires getting them from the track to the bar, but my car is for sale with a few buyers working on financing ($15,500 obo if anyone wants it lol) so i prolly wont worry about the wireing as this is coming off when i sell the car.

for those who are say wtf? i also have a whelen siren, 18 clear hide-a-way strobes, 2 amber hide-a-away strobes 4 red strobes in the wheel wells (not sure the style but they are external mount whelen non-led) and an interceptor badge on the back, lol.

ive said i wanted a light bar for awhile now. finally ordered the parts about 3 weeks ago. i got about half way through making it and life changed so im getting out of the show scene but i wanted to finish this last project to see how it would come out.

it is coming off the car when it is sold though, along with the siren.

some things you just cant leave on cars for the safety of the new owner, lol.

cuz lights small enough to fit in the space only come in red white blue and amber. there is one white in the bar also...

i wanted to originally use TIR3's but they are about .5" deeper and longer which wouldnt work. but i was gona use all TIR3 colors in that bar; purple, blue, green, red, amber and white.

im thinking of getting 2 amber one on each end of this bar for the next vehicle.

It just aint smart. The ticket for impersonating a cop isnt a fun one to get.
I know people who have received them and cops are definetly not happy when they hand you one of those.

Very nice. At first glance I thought your car was a Mustang GT.

I was sled riding in the county park at midnight a month ago and I had my inferno strobing red and blue. The old cop thought it was cool as hell. Then 20 minutes later, some young hot head **** cop got all mad about them and said I couldn't have them on my car. 40 minutes later the older cop came back and told me he told the "rookie" the laws so he shouldn't bother me anymore... He said "he's a rookie, all they want to do is give tickets and start trouble!" lol that guy was the coolest cop ever.

So people can only see it if they are behind you? That's not an effective way to impersonate an officer.

That's a cool photo. I had a Talon or something that was green for awhile when I had my Town Car still and pointed inside the vehicle, when parked @ places was a pretty intense look.

No, the main point of **** is to play with and enjoy. Breastfeeding is just a secondary purpose. icon_lol.gif

that depends on how he uses the lights. Unless you're trying to pull people over, it's doubtful you'll get the "impersonating an officer" charge. Worst case scenario, you'll get your vehice impounded, best case scenario, you get a improper lighting fix-it ticket.

i had a show this past weekend with a glow off. i had my light bar on and one of the sponsors called me over saying there was a sheriff here and to ask him.

i asked him if he saw me with my light bar on (pointed to my car) what he would do.

his response "as long as you are off roads, in a parking lot, and i dont think you are trying to be a cop, i wouldnt care."

im sure this opinion is just that. and will very with every officer. but as i have said, it will only be turned on at shows and meets where i am not visible from public road ways.

Pretty cool, man. Lots of blinking, I love it.

Reminds me of the days when Pork and I would be parked up at our old hang out spot, and I'd have my front Whelens pointed directly at the highway. Cops didn't give a **** back then, wish it was still like that.
