So while Phil was in town I asked him about putting some LED's in the bed of my truck for lighting at night when Im camping/hunting etc. He recommended the Surface Mount LED bar's

I purchased 4 along with a new switch for the dash (green) and went to work today. 2 Tubes on each side, wires are all hidden and run under the drop in bed liner then down between the cab and truck bed then up into the cabin and finally to the engine bay. Install was about 2 hours as I had to go to Schucks because I ran out of wire to finish the last connections icon_redface.gif

Thanks for the recommendation Phil and the discount icon_cool.gif

And pics of the LED dome lights I have had for some time, just never took pictures

Also note the new tonneau cover...cant really see it but its a totally flat lock down soft cover...Extang Revolution....much easier to take on and off vs the old Lund snap cover

Looks cool, that's been on my list of things to do when warm weather arrives lol. I have a bunch of rectangle superflux modules for my project though.

Nice! I need to get around to doing mine as well. I'll probably do a similar setup except with blue/green and two bars on the front of the bed.

Someone needs a tripod...

Looks good, although could you do something to eliminate the dead spot in the center of the bed?

because of the size of the lip of my bed rails its hard to angle the LED strips so that it will fill the dead spot....Also no lip on the front of the bed and I dont want anyone to be able to see the LED bars when looking into the bed...

I didn't want to use the cargo light relay because I want the option to turn them on and off when I need them....also my cargo light is a bright set of LED's as well which shines right in your eyes if you are in the bed of the truck....this way I can see all my equipment without being blinded..

and someone send me a tripod biglaugh.gif

Pics suck, and dead spot kinda bothers me, but I'm sure it looks great in person. Hopefully you get some good use out of it this summer, camping and stuff.
