the bulk of the green and white on the bike is from https://www.oznium.com/flexible-led-strips/flexible-tri-chip-ribbon-leds but there are a few pods and ebay 5mm LEDs on the bike too.
the headlight is an ebay special they are 5mm RGB pre wired leds. no controller they just cycle through colors at different speeds/colors. no way to sync and i love the effect.
the red and blue are http://www.tomar.com/products/lightheads/RECT13.html

really? i wasnt really feeling it. from a photography aspect its just not working for me lol.

the headlight looks really messed up, but do to having 6rgb leds in there i cant make it look any cleaner. the length of shutter time it takes to get the colors right on everything else makes that look ugly. icon_sad.gif

edit: im hopefully chopping my exhaust on friday so the rear red strobe should get better spread since it wont be blocked on one side anymore.

Cool shots, nice mods.

Your signature is going to give someone an epileptic seizure. It would be better if it didn't shake and only the lights flickered. icon_biggrin.gif

I agree, it's hard to do sometimes.

When I saw this thread this morning I could have sworn that was your signature. Eh, oh well. I'm fully awake now and I see the light. biglaugh.gif

We got a bunch of those 5mm automatic color changing "magic" RGB/million LEDs in stock, but just gotta add them to the site.

And Pre-wired Surface Mount LEDs in RGB/Million style are coming in early June.

I want prewired RGB 5mm. I need new ones for my ICE halos. I spent hours soldering those **** in there. and 3 green leds don't work now. Gotta redo them.

From the sounds of it korn, you won't be able to control these rgb LEDs. The ones in my headlight I can't control.

If they are common positive then I can cut off any excess wires and use the ice led box.

*prays they are common positive*

i think its just a single pos and single neg wire and all the "magic" happens inside the 5mm led... thats how my headlight is....

Indeed. I am hoping I can mod them to work with the iceled. If not they will be useless to me.

Well I retract all my previous statements. There is no way to control these at all. That is upsetting. I won't be able to use these at all for my headlights. Looks like I will use them for the fish tank or something. Still gunna have to order from superbrightleds.com for my headlight or single million color 5mm leds that I can hook up to my ice.

PHIL! MAKE PREWIRED COMMON NEG/POS RGB 5MM LEDS!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL BUY LOTS!

i tested them in my room before putting them on my bike and was kinda disappointed. the led is green the light when on a object less then 2 ft away is green, the further away it gets the more white/ less color it has. i tested one on the bike via a 9v battery and thought "meh" as to the result. decided to put both on there and give them the 12v they need. 2 of them = green light. but it would not look that green with just one.

you can tell in the crappy pic that they are no match for the green intensity from the SMD strips or for Street Glow 3mm singles

the blue however are VERY blue, i kinda wish i had blue glow on my bike so i could use them lol. they are in my room, the 2 blue floors and 1 blue spot are more then enough light at night time in my room.

the warm white is a very soothing/mellow/ unobtrusive color, im thinking of using it in my bathroom as a "night light" it more then lights up a room, but not a 55w+ type of light, just kinda "hey, i can see light"

the cool white i got looks like it had been mounted before and does not work, i was gonna use it in my front wheel well kinda like an ambient headlight but it doesnt work. icon_sad.gif so i cant give a review of that color.

all in all, i dont really know how i would use these on a car, i think in a car anywhere you could mount these would be too close to anything to get the full effect of what they can offer (youd be wasting money by using these and not another product)

but for boat, or home use, i actually think these are WORTH EVERY PENNY.

the red and blue are strobes, i dont ride with those. the headlight cant be seen when the actual headlight is on. green is forestry truck color, i doubt they are going to mistake a bike for a forestry truck. ive had lights on my bike since september with no issues. (been pulled over 3 times in the that time period for other things with no mention of my lights)

kinda, one night there was a group of 5 bikes and we were all 2up, one guys girl said she wanted ice cream, so of course all the girls then wanted ice cream. so we went on our route which is a mix of some hella twisties and some interstate bridges and end up at an ice cream place. so now we meet weekly, some 2up some solo and do a crazy route and end the night at an ice cream shop. different/safer spot then a bar.
