Which way is better for the new RGB/Million Pre-wired Surface Mount LEDs?

The 3 resistors together, or spaced?

Option B. Make sure you put heatshrink over the wire on the low voltage side of the resistor. If not, you'll prolly short across a resistor and burn out the LED.

First picture is of new rgb surface mount with all three colors powered on which makes it white.

Second photo show rgb surface mount next to regular surface mount next to superflux 4 chip prewired.

I hope to post some better images in a while but this will give you and idea what it looks like. Hard to tell in these photos but the three resistors on rgb unit are not much bigger than superflux resistor when bundled together.

I agree on B...keep it as small a footprint as possible to enable small as possible hole for mounting. Oddly enough, I was just wondering yesterday if you guys were ever gonna do an RGB version...I want some!

East coast shopping? Being in CO sort of defeats the purpose one would think? Split the difference?

A few pictures of the new rgb prewired surface mount. Note that the design has the resistors inline instead of side by side

Side by side with a blue surface mount prewired for size comparison

15 posts is plenty to have been introduced.

I'm pretty sure when he posted in this thread for the first time. He didn't have 15 posts and wasn't introduced then.
